A Forster man is due to face court on April 15 after allegedly spitting on two NSW Ambulance paramedics earlier this week.

At around 2pm on Monday, April 13, paramedics were called to a home on Macintosh Street, Forster to attend to a man suffering rib injuries.
The paramedics were met at the home by a 53-year-old man who was visibly intoxicated and complaining of pain around his ribs.
The man was treated at the scene and then placed in ambulance to be transported to Manning Hospital.
During the course of the journey it is alleged he twice spat on the two male paramedics.
Upon arrival at the hospital he was assisted out of the ambulance by security staff before being treated and later released.
The incident was reported to officers at Manning-Great Lakes Police District and an investigation commenced.
On Tuesday, April 14, police attended an address in Forster where they arrested the 53-year-old.
He was taken to Forster Police Station and charged with two counts of common assault (spitting).
He was refused bail and was due to appear via video link at Port Macquarie Local Court..
