Now competing in the under 14's, the newly 12-year-old bull rider is looking forward to making his mark on the division, and showcasing his hard won skills on bigger bulls.
"The stock is much bigger in the higher ranks, but that suits me just fine, I've been waiting to ride the bigger bulls and steers for a while, and I'm excited for the challenge," Ward said.
"I'm always out training, and I compete nearly every weekend, so I'm definitely ready."
Since entering the new division a few weeks ago, Ward has already achieved great success with wins at Wingham, Cassillis, Quirindi, Oberon, Gulgong, Newcastle and Forbes, but his primary goal hasn't changed.
Thank you to my family, and all the local sponsors for supporting me the last six years, I couldn't have done any of this without them.

"The plan is to still go on and ride for the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) in America, and eventually be number one in the world," he said.
"I want to win a world title, and I won't retire until I do, I don't care how long it takes."
Unfortunately, the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic has caused all future rodeos to be cancelled or postponed, but when competition resumes, young Levi Ward plans to come back bigger and better than ever.
"Thank you to my family, and all the local sponsors for supporting me the last six years, I couldn't have done any of this without them," he said.
"I'm looking forward to returning to competition in a few months once everything has settled.
