Here's the latest on each sport in the Port Macquarie-Hastings.
Little Athletics: State championships cancelled last week won't be rescheduled. Port Macquarie's end of year presentation on Friday still going ahead at this stage.
Aussie rules: Postponed until June 1. This means that all training and games will not go ahead as planned.
Basketball: Domestic competitions cancelled up until next weekend. Meeting scheduled for March 25 to discuss if competition will be cancelled until the end of the school holidays.
Bowls: Pennant club championships social and tournaments suspended indefinitely. Roll-ups permitted in no more than eight people per rink.
Cricket: Have been issued a recommendation from Cricket NSW and Country cricket that it is not to be played for the rest of the season, but no official confirmation regarding local competitions as yet.
Football: All sanctioned grassroots football activity suspended until April 14. This includes Coastal Premier League and Zone Premier League competitions.
Hockey: All activities suspended until May 2. As a result, summer competition and pre-season trial matches have been cancelled. Juniors model training postponed until May 4. 2020 Season will commence as planned. First women's games on April 29, juniors on April 30 and men's on May 1. 2020 selection trials for upcoming rep team state championships have been postponed with a date to be advised.
Horse racing: Continuing as normal, but with only trainers, strappers, jockeys, officials, track staff and essential personnel the only persons admitted. No club members, owners or members of the public permitted.
Ironman: Postponed to a date to be confirmed.
Netball: All activities including training postponed until May 2 or otherwise advised.
Oztag: Still on. Fields are currently closed which is preventing summer competition from being completed. But should the fields have been open, the competition would have proceeded as normal due to the small number of players competing at any one time.
Rugby league: All community rugby league postponed until at least May 1, effective immediately, while all major NSWRL competitions have been suspended until May 31.
Rugby union: All community rugby postponed until May 2, including training.
Running: Park Run postponed until the end of March, however this is largely to bring all parkrun countries into the same time frame and closures are expected to continue through April.
