The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18 starting at 5.30pm at the Wauchope Showground Hall, on High Street Wauchope.
Changing the venue for council provides greater community access to meetings, and increases engagement in council's decision-making processes.
"The majority of council meetings are held in Port Macquarie, which means residents living in the Camden Haven, Wauchope, our hinterland, and surrounding areas must travel to attend a meeting, which is not always easy or convenient to do," said Mayor Peta Pinson.
"We're keen to ensure all members of our community can access and engage with council, and encourage anyone in our growing community to come along and hear the discussions at the Wauchope meeting.
"Council meetings are also recorded and made available on our website in the days following the meeting, so if you can't make it in person you can always see and hear the meeting at a later date," Mayor Pinson said.
The agenda for the meeting will be available on council's website pmhc.nsw.gov.au/councilmeetings from Friday, March 13 or can be viewed from Monday, March 16 at council offices and Libraries.
Residents can also address council on agenda items, or in the public forum for items not listed on the formal agenda. Anyone wishing to address Council will be required to complete and submit the appropriate forms no later than 4.30pm on Tuesday, March 17.
Forms are available at pmhc.nsw.gov.au/councilmeetings or at Council Customer Service Centres. You can also phone 6581 8111 and a customer service assistant can complete the form over the phone with you.
