The group meet at Lochinvar Place in Port Macquarie and president Lorraine Beuker said the session would be a good opportunity to learn about what people can do to be prepared.
"The session is for our members to feel they are equipped after the recent fire season," Ms Beuker said.
"We will have a presentation by some local Rural Fire Service volunteers and it will be a chance for people to ask lots of questions.
"Lots of our members were impacted by the fires across the Mid North Coast, from King Creek and Beechwood to Port Macquarie and down to Laurieton so this is a timely talk.
"It was the first time in since I moved to the area over a decade ago that out townships were threatened by fire and that was a wake up call for lots of people."
The talk will be on March 17 from 9.30am. To become a member and to attend the session please call 6584 4192.
