Impressive teenager Jared Humphreys (45) and brother Ambrose (53) led the way with the bat as Pirates were dismissed for 165 in the 38th over.
In reply, Adam Carrall (3-23 off eight overs) tore through the top order to restrict Rovers to 4-50 before they were all out for for 119 in the 36th over.
Connor Cook (3-15 off six overs) also contributed significantly with the ball as Pirates made a statement to the rest of the competition.
Elsewhere, Wingham knocked Rovers off the top rung of the ladder with an impressive 131-run win over Wauchope.
David Rees' half-century was the backbone of Wingham's 7-234 although Wauchope didn't help their own cause by grassing a number of chances.
Paul Stait (2-26 off eight overs) was the pick of Wauchope's bowlers with Matt Miller (2-41), Luke Holt (2-34) and Kade McKenna (1-27) also picking up wickets.
Wauchope were never in the run chase, slumping to 4-48 before they were all out for 103 in the 29th over.
Quinn Pares (25 not out) and Darren Bourke (23) were the only batsmen to offer any resistance.
