This year more than 2000 runners have signed up for the event..
The start and finish of all events is on Port Macquarie's Town Green.
The kids 3km fun run will be run in age categories from 2pm on Saturday and followed by the Indigenous Marathon Foundation #WalkSweatInspire 3km at 4pm.
Sunday's program starts at 7am with the Greater Port Macquarie Treble Breakwall Buster (Half Marathon + 10km + 5km) and Rydges Hotel Port Macquarie Half Marathon followed by the Athletes Foot Port Macquarie 10km Fun Run at 9am and at 10am the Port Patios 5km Family Fun Run and Walk.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council has been sponsoring this event for the last five years.

The event partners with the Indigenous Marathon Foundation (IMF). Through this partnership the IMF Raw Port Macquarie Group lead by Charlie Maher has grown to have over 200 members.
Further to this, the Bush 2 Beach project was launched last year connecting Charlie's home town Ntaria with Port Macquarie promoting healthy living in both areas and presenting opportunities for young runners.
IMF Director, former world marathon record holder, 1983 World Marathon Champion and current Australian Marathon record holder Robert de Castella will officially kick off Run Fest Port Macquarie holding a special event fundraiser at Majestic Cinemas on Friday, March 6.
Charlie Maher will also share his story with Caleb Hart, Joseph Darwin and Juan Darwin creating history as the first indigenous team to complete the New York Marathon. Since then there have been 96 graduates of the program.
This will serve as a celebration of IMF which is now in its 10th year and the pay tribute to the positive impact it has had within the wider communities. Robert de Castella will also lace up his shoes to take on the Port Patios 5km Fun Run.
