A 44-year-old Grafton woman remains in custody after her appearance in the Port Macquarie Local Court on a raft of historic chld sex offences.

The woman, who cannot be identified, appeared on February 6, 2020.
Magistrate Georgina Darcy adjourned the case against the woman to the same court on April 9, 2020 for committal.
No pleas have been entered.
Bail was not applied for and was formally refused.
The 10 charges relate to alleged incidents that took place at Lake Cathie between 2005 and 2011.
The woman is charged with, aggrevated sexual assault of a victim aged under 16 years on January 1, 2006 - a charge that carries a maximum penalty of 20 years' jail; incite a person under 16 years to commit an act of indecency on January 1, 2008 - a charge that carries a maximum penalty of two years; commit an act of indecency with a person aged under 16 years on January 1, 2001 - a maximum penalty of two years.
The remaining charges are, commit an act of indecency with a person aged under 16 years on January 1, 2007; aggravated sexual assault with a victim under 16 years on January 1, 2007; incite aggravated indecency with victim and offender in company on July 12, 2006; incite aggravated indecency with victim under authority of offender on July 12, 2006; aggravated indecency of victim under 16 years and under the authority of the offender on December 1, 2010; aggravated sexual intercourse withi person over 10 years on October 20, 2005; and, aggravated sexual intercourse with person over 10 years on October 20, 2005.
