The event is on Saturday January 25 from 10am until 2pm.
Funds raised from some the planned traditional Australia Day games will be used to assist FAWNA's Food4Wildlife and Nest Box Appeal.
Proceeds will help the Hastings' species affected by the recent bushfires and loss of habitat.
A range of family-friendly activities have been organised with the majority requiring a gold coin donation, a Sovereign Place spokesperson said.
"These will include, Lamington decorating, thong-throwing competition, live music from Andrew Cousins, kids' watermelon eating competition - starting at 11.30am, and Brooklyn's burger eating competition - commencing at noon," the spokesperson said.
"We also plan to hold a children's talent quest at 1pm while there will be raffle and fun prizes - an Apple Watch Series 3 and more - during the afternoon.
"The bushfires have caused significant loss of wildlife and native food resources."
FAWNA president Meredith Ryan thanked Sovereign Place Town Centre for organising the fun-raising event.
It will be terrific to have a boost for our nest box project which is aiming to provide substitute homes for wildlife who lost theirs in the fires.

"It will be terrific to have a boost for our nest box project which is aiming to provide substitute homes for wildlife who lost theirs in the fires," she said.
"We're in this for the long haul while we recover from the significant changes to our forests and wildlife habitat."
In November, FAWNA (NSW) Inc., the volunteer group licensed by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, launched its Food4Wildlife and Nest Box Appeal.
There are now 30 FAWNA food collection stations throughout the Mid Coast, Port Macquarie and Kempsey shires where the community can collect Macropod pellets and wild bird seed for kangaroos, wallabies, possums, birds and other native animals.
The appeal is also funding hundreds of nest boxes for species such as the brushtail possum, microbat, gliders and birds.
FAWNA has been consulting with ecologists and experts to ensure the boxes are placed where wildlife homes are most needed in the Hastings for hollow-dependent species.
Sovereign Place Town Centre businesses including the Hastings Co-op IGA, Juice Box, Brooklyn's Burger Bar, The Hill Café and Triple Two are dedicated to doing their bit to assist this local initiative in the wake of the fires.
Sovereign Place Town Centre is on Chancellors Drive, Port Macquarie, near St Joseph's Regional College.
