A letter in the Express prior to Christmas concentrated on wishing everyone a happy, safe Christmas and reminding travellers that mobile phone and speed cameras were in use.
There was not one word thanking the local RFS and volunteer firefighters for the work they did day and night in this/her electorate during September, October and November.
Where was she? What was she thinking and what was she doing?
Yesterday after two months another article in the Express concentrating almost only re: the money that the state government was now spending.
A minor mention of the RFS and volunteers for their assistance on the South Coast - what about this/her electorate?
Furthermore she did not mention the devastating losses of wildlife both in this area and on Kangaroo Island.
It seems that the coalition's "cone of silence" has extended far and wide.
She has depended and will continue to depend on her status in this electorate of safe seat. There is no such thing as a safe seat.
