At the celebration on Wednesday December 4 from 5pm, there will be a short concert by students, a visit by Santa and an opportunity to thank the NSW Rural Fire Service for all they have done for our local communities.
"The P&C is not fundraising for the school at this event. We have attached a red envelope to this information. We would ask that your family use this to thank the firefighters however you would like," said Heather Smith from the Beechwood P&C.
"You can make a donation, draw pictures or write a letter/cards of thanks. We will share these amongst our local RFS brigades, who will be part of our celebration (conditions permitting)."
Community members without children at the school can also bring envelopes with thank you messages or donations for the RFS and the P&C will distribute them amongst Beechwood, Hollisdale and Pappinbarra RFS.
The concert will start at 6pm and the audience are asked to please be seated and ready by then. Students will need to be ready in costumes (all provided) before 6pm.
Bring your own picnic basket (no alcohol please) and seating - grab a coffee, cool drink, sno-cone or ice cream from the vendors and sit back, and enjoy the show.
"We look forward to seeing you at our Merry little community Christmas Celebration," said Heather.
