He appeared before Magistrate Jennifer Price on November 21, 2019.
No pleas have been entered and the man was refused bail.
The man is charged with three counts of having sexual intercourse with a child under 14 years. Those charges related to offences that allegedly occurred on February 22, 2019.
The charge of using a carriage service to publish child pornography allegedly occurred on July 2, 2019 while a charge of possession of child abuse material relates to incidents that allegedly took place on July 19, 2019.
The case was adjourned to the Port Macquarie Local Court on January 16, 2020.
