Funds raised will help purchase equipment including full face masks.
The brigade has been working virtually around the clock alongside other brigades since the Lindfield Park Road fire started in around July this year.
Brigade captain Kingsley Searle said the fundraising would start at around 10am through to 2pm.
"The fundraising is for essential brigade equipment while helping top up gear that is being constantly used," he said.
"Because we have been working 24/7, our equipment is being pushed to the limit at the moment.
"This really started for us in July and we are still going at it.
"We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the wider community so far."
Mr Searle said the fundraising would be used to particularly purchase newer face masks.
While all crew members are kitted out, the newer style face masks will make a difference for members on the fire ground.
"P2 masks are supplied to all fire fighters when they join and are replaced," he said.
"However, because of the conditions and smoke that we face, we have found these newer masks more effective.
"We also want to put a full kit in each truck so when the team members get into situations where the smoke is overpowering, they will have access to some form of comfort."
Mr Searle said the brigade had no other way of fundraising to the broader community.
