Twenty-four hours after the Mid North Coast Cricket Council called off all Premier League matches, air quality levels more than 10 times worse than normal forced the HRDCA to also cancel Saturday matches.
HRDCA secretary David Chapman took to social media just before lunchtime on Friday to inform players of the decision.
It is the second-straight week where no cricket has been played between Taree and Kempsey due to the bushfires.
"Regretfully there will again be no senior cricket played this weekend due to the smoke that has impacted air quality to beyond 15 times what is acceptable," the statement read.
"We have spoken to all clubs and the umpires' secretary Paul Dilley and there is overwhelming support in our decision.
"Thanks for your understanding."
It is hoped cricket will return to normal next weekend.
