The Mid North Coast Ford Owner's Club annual All Ford Day attracted car enthusiasts from all over NSW and beyond. Entry for spectators was free and Ford buffs paid just $10 to show off their gorgeous vehicles from Australia and the USA.
"Many of the vehicles over 30 years are registered on historic plates, some are daily drives and there are, of course, those cars which only come out on special Show N Shine days such as this event," said Annette Magennis, secretary of the club.
All proceeds raised from the event will be presented to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Hastings Support Group. There were raffles and trade stands and donations for drought-stricken farmers. Miss Dale of Velvet-Rose's Pin Up Dressing Room hosted a pin-up competition for glamorous girls.
"We live at the end of the street and thought we would come along to have a suss out of the machines, and It's mind-blowing. They're beautiful," said Tony Padgett.
Karen Liddell from Gumma near Macksville loves Fords and enjoyed the day.
