According to its website, GHD is one of the world's leading professional services companies operating in the global market sectors of water, energy and resources, environment, property and buildings, and transportation.
GHD was contacted for comment.
The rally is scheduled for Thursday October 24, from 8am until 9am.
Organiser of the rally Dr Stephen Healy said the event was aimed at sending a strong message to the business.
"As part of the Stop Adani national week of action, a coalition of local environment groups will hold a rally outside GHD's offices on Lord Street," he said.
"Everyone is welcome to come along and find out about GHD's role in the Adani mine project.
"GHD is one of the longest serving contractors to Adani.
"But, so far, some 60 companies have withdrawn or refused to participate with Adani," he said.
"We think the message is starting to get out there. Our aim is to try to pressure them (GHD) to withdraw their services too."
Dr Healy said the gathering would be orderly and peaceful.
He expected many supporters to have banners while there will be a couple of speakers addressing the meeting.
We will simply make our presence, feelings and ideas evident to those inside (the GHD building).

"We will simply make our presence, feelings and ideas evident to those inside (the GHD building)," he added.
Climate Change Australia, Hastings branch would be part of the rally he said, while the Stop Adani movement was a loose coalition from across the political spectrum.
"But if we are speaking for anyone it is on behalf of the future generations," he added.
Dr Healy said the message is getting out into the community and was crossing over the political divide.
"My understanding is that there is a broad sweep of support (for the Stop Adani movement).
"However, Australia appears to be split almost down the middle of many decisions.
"It is really now a decision that is beyond the old left and right of politics.
"We should just care for the environment, no matter where you sit," he said.
