Wauchope Country Club is about to kick off their next Barefoot Bowls for Charity.
Starting on October 17 and running for seven weeks, each Thursday you and a group of friends can come along and play barefoot bowls with the money raised going to charity.
The format is teams of four, costing $5 per person.
Be at the club at 5.30pm for a 6pm start.
Play will conclude around 7.30pm or until the sun goes down.
All ages are welcome, no experience necessary and you can borrow bowls from the club - so why not enter a team.
You don't have to commit to the whole seven weeks and team players can be changed when needed.
It's all about having fun, meeting new people, and raising money for a local charity.
All money raised at the end of the seven weeks goes to a local charity nominated by the winning card holder.
The money raised from the last charity bowls tournament went to the local charity LEARN from Horses which is run by Deb and Rod O'Malley.
The charity was launched in 2016 after they searched for a way to share their equine experience with others, especially those who had become disillusioned with the world and had lost their way.
For more information or to book in a team, come down to the club or phone 6585 3020.
Our previous Barefoot Bowls for Charity which was run earlier in the year was a great success with a total of $2080.00 raised.
