Local riders found it tough in round five of the competition, as quality riders were attracted from the Gold Coast and Port Macquarie, after their track was closed due to heavy rain during the week.
Wauchope rider Billy Hargy continued his impressive run of form with a win in the junior 125/250 division.
While it was a step down in pressure stakes from his national success a few weeks ago, father Daniel said it was a pleasing result.
"It was just a bit of fun and relaxation for him," he said.
"He enjoys every time he gets on a bike, but there are a few things he should do easily and a few others he needs to work for."
It was Hargy's first race in the series after he missed a number of the earlier rounds in the year due to other commitments.
Regular podium finishes Mick Booth, Josh Scott and Chayse Trappel found it hard going, especially in round three when the rain really came down, which made the track very interesting for everyone.
Newcomer to the club Tyler Billings is showing he is an all-rounder with recent good results on the oil and grass tracks.
The Kempsey Macleay Motorcycle Club's final Grass Track round is on November 10 and the Akubra Classic is a week earlier on Sunday November 3.
