Despite being the only girl competing in the under-11 to 14 steer ride in Australia, she's already leaving her mark as she's moved into 15th position out of more than 50 riders.
The Hastings Secondary College student has had to overcome a late start to the season too.
She began steer riding in April when the Australian Bushmen's Campdraft and Rodeo Association competition begins in December.
The high school student decided to take on steer riding after the encouragement of her younger brother Levi, who recently finished second at the World Finals.
"Levi got her into it one day at home and she hasn't looked back, she absolutely loves it now," Bobbi's father Dean said.
"She's only been doing it for a few months but she has improved out of sight."
Bobbi picked up her first victory in the steer ride last month and has notched up a handful of second and third place finishes too.
Bobbi is also sitting in second position as she attempts to defend her title in the under-11 to 14s barrel race, is second in the under-18s Junior Cowgirl and is 20th in the breaking roping.
Levi is leading the way in the under-8 to 11 steer riding, barrel race and the Under-18s junior cowboy.
Meanwhile the youngest Ward, Franki, is in second position in the Under-11 barrell race.
