Police have charged Armidale man James David McKenzie with 19 offences, including piercing the nipple of a child, and sexual and indecent assault.
The 35-year-old had his case heard by Magistrate Michael Holmes in Armidale Local Court on Wednesday.
Two hearings were listed for McKenzie's case on the same day in November, one of them was officially vacated by Mr Holmes in court.
McKenzie has remained in custody since the Child Abuse Squad raided his home on May 23.
Police allege McKenzie abused a 21-year-old woman and three teenage girls aged 15, 16, 17, including two from Port Macquarie.
He first came to the attention of police when detectives allege he offered the 15-year-old girl he met on social media, drugs and money, in exchange for sex.
He is yet to enter pleas to any of the charges and did not make a bid for bail on Wednesday, that was formally refused.
The matter will return to Armidale Local Court November 20.
