A 43-year-old Grafton woman remains in custody with a fresh charge relating to historic child sex offences being heard in Port Macquarie Local Court on September 19.

The woman, who cannot be identified, appeared before Magistrate Price.
Bail was not applied for and was formerly refused. The woman was not required to appear for the hearing.
No pleas have been entered.
The woman is charged with, aggravated sexual assault on a victim aged under 16 years in 2006; incite a person under 16 years to commit an act of indecency between 2008 and 2012; and two counts of commit an act of indecency with a person under 16 years in 2007 and 2011.
The first charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years' in jail, with the remaining three charges each carrying two years' jail time.
Magistrate Price adjourned the four matters to the Port Macquarie Local Court on November 7, 2019.
