THE location of a new pool will top a long and lively list of issues to be debated at the September 2019 meeting of Port Macquarie-Hastings Council.
Macquarie Park emerged as the front runner when potential site options were weighed up for a new Port Macquarie aquatic centre.
And the orbital road is back on the agenda. Cr Mike Cusato will raise a proposal to investigate the impact on the development of the strategic business case if the "high community impact" east-west route is removed as an option.
There are 12 speakers in the public gallery addressing councillors on matters from climate change to the new pool, our health and education precinct, Lake Innes and the orbital road, and Bold Street's contentious pedestrian crossing.
