The event coincides with the society's 30th anniversary and will be hosted at the Laurieton United Services Club.
Camden Haven Orchid Society secretary John Matthews said the show follows other events at Nambucca Heads, Wauchope, Port Macquarie and Kempsey.
He said there have been many varieties on display, even after a dry winter and early spring weather conditions.
Mr Matthews said people will be dazzled by all the brilliant blooms of flowering orchids from vivid yellows to delicate pinks, evergreen bromeliads and foliage plants with exotic spikes.
There will be 14 classes to be exhibited, with 70 sub sections to be judged by the NSW Orchid Society Mid North Coast Judging Panel.
Mr Matthews said the society is expecting about 200 on display, from growers in the Camden Haven, Bellingen, Kempsey, Nambucca Heads, Port Macquarie and Wauchope.
A special novice section has been included for the new members gained over the winter.
The show will be open to the public on Saturday, September 14 from 10am to 4pm and Sunday, September 15 from 9.30am to 3pm.
To assist new members and the public interested in growing orchids, there will be potting demonstrations each day of the show at 11am. Allan Wallace will present on Saturday and Lloyd Edwards on Sunday.
Members will be available to give advice to the public on plants suitable to grow in the region.
A society sales table for orchids, bromeliads, foliage plants and accessories will be operated by members.
The presentation of awards to prize winners will be made on the Sunday at 3pm, by a representative of the Laurieton United Services Club.
