Wauchope sit at the foot of the competition ladder, have scored just five goals while conceding 78 - or 4.5 goals a game.
Unfortunately their last game of the season is against Camden Haven Redbacks, who simply must win to shore up fifth spot, and a shot at semi final football.
And, the match is being played at the Redbacks' home ground, Vince Inmon Oval, Laurieton.
Also vying for a finals berth is Kempsey Saints who have the bye and will finish on 27 points. The Saints hold a superior goal difference over the Redbacks meaning a draw won't be good enough for the Reds.
It should prove to be a desperate clash at Laurieton.
Other round 18 matches will see Wallis Lake hosting Taree Wildcats at Boronia Park.
A win for the Forster outfit will see them finish on 39 competition points.
Macleay Valley Rangers currently sit in second on 37 points so a win is likely to be required to remain above Wallis Lake.
Rangers will host premiers Port United at Optus Park in what should be an exciting encounter.
In the final clash, Port Saints will take on Tuncurry Forster at Findlay Park.
The Saints sit in fourth and will be hoping to capitalise on any dropped points from those above them to jump into the top 3.
Kempsey Saints have the bye.
