Matt Broderick scored a brace while Josh Casey and Adam Woonton found the back of the net as United bounced back from last week's "disappointing" 2-all draw with Wallis Lake.

United coach Nathan Wade, however, felt the scoreline wasn't a true reflection of the game.

"It wasn't like we scored tap-ins, they were long-range efforts," Wade said.

"The majority of the game ebbed and flowed and we took our chances when we got them and once again our defence held solid."

Broderick benefited from a goalkeeping error that saw the ball squeeze under the goalkeeper from a shot outside the area in the first half before he buried a second-half free-kick into the top corner.

Casey benefited from the inside of the post from his long-range shot before Woonton sealed the deal following a swift counter-attack.

Wade said he was pleased with the response following last week which extended their unbeaten run to 15 games.

"The wife said to stop being so negative all the time, but I'm only trying to pinpoint the areas that need improving," he said.

"Every coach wants perfection and you never get it, but that's what you'd like.

"Our goal scoring was the difference really; we took our chances again and the rest of the game was pretty even."
