The fundraising haul collected since 2017 was announced alongside a visit from the R U OK? Trust the Signs tour to Port Macquarie Private Hospital on July 12.
Connor Port Macquarie store manager Renne Chamberlain said the store was sitting around sixth against 160 other store locations for their fundraising total.
"We just ask the question, would you like to donate to the R U OK? Foundation or contribute $2 or more to help prevent suicide," said Ms Chamberlain.
"I think it just works here because everyone is so generous and on-board.
"We are currently sitting sixth. That's pretty good for a regional town like Port Macquarie.
"I think it promotes raising awareness. There are customers that want to talk to someone about it.
"Donations come from a mixture of ages. I'm quite surprised the younger generation is eager to donate and support.
"It's lovely to see the community getting behind it. We want to say thank you to the community for supporting the Foundation."
