A 23 year old man has been seriously assaulted by three men in Port Macquarie.

The man was walking along Horton Street, between Gordon Street and Hayward Street, when he was allegedly set upon by three men around 10.30pm on Friday, June 28.
He suffered a broken nose and black eye during the incident.
Port Macquarie Police are appealing for any information about the assault or the three Caucasian men seen at the incident.
One of the three men is described as between 18 to 20 years old, dressed in all black with long hair and a hat on backwards, while another had a brown jacket tied around his waist.
Details of the third man are unknown.
Port Macquarie Police chief inspector Michael Aldridge said offences relating to assault occasioning grievous or bodily harm can carry penalties from a fine or up to seven years imprisonment.
