The Accord is one of 10 projects to share in $100,000 funding under the state government's Liquor Accords grants. The grants program was announced on June 26.
The Hastings Liquor Accord received $15,000 in funding for the project.
The program aims to help make licensed venues safer, encourage responsible alcohol consumption and deter anti-social behaviour.
Hastings Liquor Accord president Alistair Flower said the group is looking forward to developing awareness campaigns and tourism opportunities.
"There will be additional resources, which will mean we will come out with our own campaigns on social responsibility and alcohol awareness," Mr Flower told HLA members at its June 17 meeting.
"Collectively, as an accord, we will be looking at other initiatives including under-age alcohol issues along with tourism.
"We will look for our own summer campaigns.
"The Accord will work with Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and other people to promote our licensed premises."
He said the HLA would be using funding to create awareness campaign advertising in the region.
"We will do Plan B advertising through that government grant," he said. "Our campaigns will be based on promoting our bus drivers, courtesy buses, taxi, Uber and alternative ways to get to and from licensed premises."
At the same meeting, members voted to begin a mobile phone trial for seven venues in Port Macquarie.
During the trial venues will be given pre-paid mobile phones to jointly refuse entry to violent or intoxicated patrons.
