St Peter's Primary School principal Geoff Leary said the day was an expression of the school's wonderful sense of community and support for each other.
Families joined in the activities at St Peter's Primary School.
The celebrations featured a Mass, tabloid games and a shared lunch.
The students in their peer support groups took part in the tabloid games from quoits to hula hoops and catching and throwing activities.
The groups rotated through the activities.
