Ian Last, 48, was refused bail during his latest court appearance on May 9.
He appeared before Magistrate J Price.
Last is alleged to have breached an AVO and bail conditions before stabbing two people.
On Wednesday February 6, officers from the Mid North Coast Police District attended a home in Port Macquarie following reports of an alleged domestic dispute.
Officers arrested the man after it's alleged he threatened a man and a woman, aged 80 and 82 years.
The man was charged with four offences including, stalk and intimidate, and destroy or damage property. He was granted conditional bail, and issued an interim domestic violence order.
Police will allege the man returned to the home where he again threatened the couple with a knife before stabbing them.
The man was charged with two counts of wound a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, attempt to damage property by fire with intent to injure, breach AVO and breach of bail.
Last's next court appearance is scheduled on June 20, 2019 via video link in the Port Macquarie Local Court.
