The race was held on a lovely sparkly day, but although there was no wind by midday, a light south-easter gradually came in and allowed a race to be run in the slow run-in tide.
The catamaran division was won on both yardstick and handicap by Tony Kuhn on Stella ahead of Rob Barwick on Drift and Dave Winter on Spica.
The large monohull fleet was won on yardstick by Rohan and Aiden Nosworthy in A Power who were getting last minute practice before the family take their 2 boats to the Queensland Heron Championships next weekend.
Next was Martina Holt in Spellbound, Charlie and Lara Nosworthy in Temerare, Simon Gandy and Liam Halmi in Voyager and then Roger Shipton in Zasoo.
Then was Andrew Richards in Impulsive, Terry Howard in Ratz, Stuart Symons and Monica Hales in Elmo, Steve Couch in Rainbow, Jane Cooper in Pineapple, and Mick Hodgson in Big Blue.
Steve Bohlsen and Ed Molony took Interceptor away to a regatta at Batemans Bay.
Temerare took the handicap win for the Nosworthy family, followed by Impulsive, Voyager, A Power, Zasoo, Spellbound, Big Blue 10 seconds ahead of Pineapple, Rainbow, Elmo, and Ratz.
Caitlin Hicks and Isla Smith in Britannia won the Juniors race on yardstick ahead of Jett Hodgson in Baby Blue. Baby Blue won on handicap over Britannia.
There is no sailing next week now that the season has finished, but members are requested to bring back any outstanding perpetual trophies to Tony Kuhn ahead of the presentation night on May 11.
Making sure you are booked in for the dinner.
There will be a working bee at the club next Sunday at 10.30am, and the next season starts on September 1.
