The morning tea coincided with World Parkinson's Day on Thursday, April 11.
Port Macquarie's Kim Dahler, who was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's in 2013, organised the morning tea at the National Australia Bank in Port Macquarie.
Kim said Parkinson's could strike anybody at virtually any age.
"You can still go on living life with it, and hopefully [in the future] there will be if not a cure, medication to slow down the progression," she said.
The morning tea raised awareness and supporters wore special T-shirts to mark the occasion.

Kim thanked the support of her employer.
Port Macquarie Parkinson's Support Group members and specialist neurological nurse Rachael Mackinnon were among those to attend the morning tea.
Port Macquarie Parkinson's Support Group president Gregg Faulkner encouraged anyone diagnosed with Parkinson's to come along to the support group.
More information is available at the Port Macquarie Parkinson's Support Group website.
Meanwhile, the support group also staged a World Parkinson's Day walk on Thursday, April 11.
