Port Macquarie runners took part in the 5km or 10km off road race around the edge of Long Point Vineyard on March 30.
It's the first time the event has been held on the Mid North Coast and was followed by wine tastings as well as live music from Brisbane band, McKenzie.
Race director Peter Manning said the weather had cleared momentarily for the start of the race, however the track was decidedly soggy.
"We've had about 350 people register for the event, which is good numbers for the first one in Port Macquarie," he said.
"The track is a bit wet under foot so we have set up a number of other options for runners."
"People are mainly here for the band McKensie, wine and good time."
