After that, the selection process will be complete and coaches will then settle on their team to represent the region at the Country Championships.
Coach Bec Beverley said they were focused on improving on their third-place finish in last year's seven-a-side competition.
With the growth of women's and girls rugby over the last 12 months she was confident that could happen.
"It's great to be able to say we've got so many young girls playing and it's great we don't have to settle for a run around when we're aiming for country champs and being quite competitive," Beverley said.
"They went to the sevens last year and finished third out of the 16 teams which was the first time most of them had played a game of footy.
"Now we've decided to have a longer lead up with training sessions we can improve and hopefully take it out."
Beverley admitted the improvement from most of the juniors had been impressive and it would be a difficult decision to finalise the squad.
It was a pleasant headache to have.
It's going to be tough to try and pick the side because we're going to have to cut more than 15 players and it's a great standard they've got already.

"The level of ability is really high," she said.
"It's going to be tough to try and pick the side because we're going to have to cut more than 15 players and it's a great standard they've got already."
Two players have turned their disappointment of missing out on last year's team into motivation to take the next step this year.
"We had a couple of girls that didn't make the side last year for the sevens and we told them to go back work on a few different areas," Beverley said.
"Those two girls have worked extraordinarily hard with one blitzing it and being one of the best players we have.
"She's gone from a little bit of a weaker player last year to working really hard and will be one player we set our foundation on."
The final team will be an even split of players from Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Kempsey and Coffs Harbour.
"It's pretty much evenly split so it's a great to see everyone's hard work is paying off," Beverley said.
