THEY picked up the footy for the first time this pre-season on Friday, so it's little surprise Wauchope coach Anthony Boyd isn't concerned about their trial loss to Macksville on Saturday.

The Blues barely fired a shot in attack during the three-tries-to-nil defeat.
Boyd indicated it was going to be a good opportunity for some of his younger brigade to put their best foot forward ahead of the Group 3 season opener next month.
The result didn't really matter and a few of the new faces made an impression.
New signing Ollie Pascoe was one of their stronger performers while Bryce Roach earned the full praise of the coach.
"He hadn't played in the best part of three seasons since he suffered a cut near his eye," Boyd said.
"They thought he might have lost some of his sight."
The coach was also pleased with the effort of Josh Cleal in the middle of the park and while Boyd didn't name names, there were a few others who were "disappointing".
"A few players who have come to the club put their hand up, but we had most of our young kids out there," Boyd said.
"I was pretty happy with the performance and would be concerned about the lack of points if we had done a bit of ball work.
"It was a basic hit out for us and gives us something to work on in the next couple of weeks."
The Blues will take on Port Sharks at Regional Stadium this Saturday in the first round of the Group 3 pre-season competition.
