The Port Macquarie Pirates hosted the Golden Oldies with teams from Coffs Harbour, Urunga, Bowraville, South West Rocks, Manning, Nelson Bay and Hastings Valley also competing.
There were record numbers in attendance with loads of family fun had by all.
Golden Oldies is the 35 and over age grade with players in their 60 and 70's hitting the field for a run also.
The day was played in the spirit of Golden Oldies rugby with the focus on fun, friendship and fraternity.
Countless valiant carries, support plays and tackles saw all teams rack up tries throughout the day.
Dean Munn of the Port Macquarie Pirates Vintage Ports took some heavy contact early in the day, but sprung back with some try saving action.
Belinda Clarke, in her debut with the Vintage Ports, took the ball on the full from kick off and had a blasting run up the mid field to help set up a try.
A light touch of rain didn't hamper the players or supporters attendance.
A great day, full of rugby banter, amusing anecdotes and some good old fashioned friendly sledging.
