Learn about reducing your energy and water use, composting, eco-cleaning, biodiversity off-sets, organic farming and more.
A gold coin donation gives you access to more than 50 displays, 30 seminar presentations, 15 workshops and a full program of children's activities such as sustainable crafting and ochre art.
For businesses, there is a seminar program on Friday, March 1 from midday to 5pm with workshops about energy and solar power.
Businesses may also benefit from a workshop of energy management basics for business and monitoring commercial solar installations with Giles Parkinson, Nigel Morris and Brian England.
The showcase is an initiative of the Port Macquarie Hastings Sustainability Network, and is made possible by auspicing and support from Busways, Charles Sturt University and sponsorship from Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, CSU Green, Holiday Coast Credit Union, JR Richards, 360green, Midwaste, Greater Port Macquarie Focus and Essential Energy.
A grant was received from the NSW Government, and an inspiring level of support has also been received from a wide range of local organisations, giving their time and energy to assist with planning and contributions to all the presentations, workshops, demonstrations and displays which will be available at the event.
