Break and enters in Kempsey and domestic violence in the Hastings are on the Mid North Coast Police watch list, according to a full list crime statistics released from a local safety meeting earlier this month.

The Community Safety Precinct Committee at Port Macquarie-Hastings Council's chambers was attended by police, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and Seniors' Rights staff on February 12.
Attendees were also given a review of crime results from the last financial year.
The strongest positive results for the Mid North Coast Police District included an 11 per cent decrease in non-DV assault, 32.5 per cent decrease in stealing from retail store and 7.1 per cent decrease in robbery as of February 6.
Over the same period fraud was up by 59.7 per cent to 556 instead of the targeted 348, there was a 35.9 per cent increase in total vehicles stolen and 32.2 per cent increase for adult sexual assault.
Total number of proactive police actions was down from a target of 2383 to the actual result of 1936. Total crime statistics were above police estimates at 3884 incidents.
NSW Police District Commander Paul Fehon said police resources in Hastings had been placed under pressure from additional demand needed to deal with a large amount of break and enter offences in Kempsey.
He explained these crimes were likely committed due to drug addiction in the area.
The Macleay cluster registered a number of injury and fatal crashes with seven in October, four in November, seven in December and nine in January 2018.
Malicious damage increased to 50 in January this year, up from 40 in December, 38 in November and 28 in October for the Macleay.
The Hastings registered an average of five non-domestic violence assaults per week from December 17 to February 4, with around three alcohol related assaults per week.
It also averaged five domestic violence assaults per week in the same period, with 22 recorded per month from August to January.
Police applied for 455 apprehended violence orders from August to January, and 326 people were charged with 719 domestic violence offences in the same time period.
The Hastings region also registered an average of 23 dwelling break and enters per month, as well as 14 non-dwelling break and enters per month from August to January.
The next community safety meetings will take place in Kempsey on June 4, Nambucca on September 3 and back to Port Macquarie on November 19.
