The Port Macquarie Sailing Club’s double header on Sunday consisted of race four of the summer series in the morning and the fifth club championship race in the afternoon.

Despite a rather light wind forecast, there was a lovely easy north-easter for the morning race which freshened to a stronger north-easter for the afternoon race, all sailed under beautiful sunny skies.
Frank O’Rourke on Dino led the catamarans around the course to win the morning race on yardstick ahead of Tony Kuhn on Stella, Rob Barwick on Drift, and Dave Winter on Spica.
Dino also won on handicap, Stella was second ahead of Drift by 20 seconds, then came Spica.
The monohulls morning race was won on yardstick by Martina Holt in Spellbound followed by Roger Shipton in Zoosos, Simon Gandy and Bridgit Taylor in Voyager, Steve Bohlsen and Ed Molony in Interceptor, Jane Cooper in Pineapple, and Caitlyn Hicks and Peter Nyberg in Britannia.
