Adventist Schools in Taree, Port Macquarie and Macksville converged on Wauchope on February 12 for the combined Adventist schools swimming carnival.
Despite the heat students loved spending the day at the pool and diving into the water was a welcomed relief.
Port Macquarie Adventist School principal Joyanne Walsh said all students had a great time at the pool.
“We had all the regular strokes, backstroke, freestyle, butterfly and breaststroke along with a few relays,” Ms Walsh said.
“The students that do well here will qualify for the zone swimming competition later in year so there is a little bit of competition.
“But mostly all the students are having fun and cheering on their friends as they swim in the pool."
