Iesha Apthorpe was one of the swimmers who broke a number of records on the day – including the 50m freestyle, 100 freestyle and 50 butterfly – and said it was a good day out.
“The swimming carnival has been really fun and lots of people have been taking part in all the races,” Iesha said.
“My favourite is the freestyle and butterfly but everyone has a lot of school spirit today.”
Will Crowley smashed two records set in 1983 and said it had been fun.
“For me swimming is a very social activity because a lot of my friends do swimming as well,” Will said.
