This year, they mark their 18th-straight January summer tour when wrestlers such as Jackson Kelly, Chris Abbott and Will Pearce take to the ring at Panthers on Thursday night (January 10).
Promoter Mark Mercedes said they were looking forward to again travelling to the Mid North Coast as they showcase some of the best wrestling action seen in a regional area.
“This time of year it’s summer, the place is bustling with people and it gives an opportunity to see wrestling up close,” he said.
“A lot of people don’t get the chance to see wrestling live in regional areas, but these guys are every bit as good as those in the WWE.
“The show is a family event which allows some of the wrestlers to showcase things they have learned from around the world.”
Mercedes said previously they had been to other venues throughout the Hastings, but were excited to return to their original venue.
“We haven’t been to Panthers in about six years; we’ve been to Laurieton in the past, but it’s exciting to get back to our original venue,” he said.
“Something is working for us because we keep coming back and it’s a lot of fun.”
For keen wrestling fans, a VIP experience has been capped at 50 tickets.
“You get priority seating next to the ring, a photo in the ring as well as a show poster,” Mercedes said.
“But every seat is a good seat.”
