I have been stewing over this matter since the first time I visited Dan Murphy’s in Port Macquarie.

t was so obvious right from the start that the entrance and exits should be reversed.
The entrance should be from Gordon Street and the exit out to Horton Street. Anyone with half a brain can see that traffic flow would be smoother, safer.
I spoke with management at this time, and I know they would have preferred the entrance and exit to be reversed.
I don't claim to be an expert, but I will claim some common sense.
And we all know the definition of an expert don't we.
It would not affect Dan Murphy’s bottom line, but it would improve the traffic flow in that area of the town.
Traffic in Port is only going to get more congested, so the problem at Dan Murphy’s is only going to get worse.
Now on a related matter, the people that exit from the entrance into Horton Street are part of the problem.
I know that's where we should be exiting, but as it stands, that's not legal, or safe.
They are just ignorant, arrogant people.
Surely somebody in council can see the sense in this, about time.
