The promising youngster lives and breathes cricket, spending each weekend playing either locally or in the Sydney grade competition.
Her ability has not gone unnoticed either with selection in the Combined High Schools merit team XI.
The 15-year-old Faux, who attends Hastings Secondary College Westport Campus, is heading into year 11 studies this year.
But that seems unlikely to phase the dedicated all-rounder who wants to join the elite Australian players and compete in the WBBL.
Those lofty dreams and aspirations would seem far removed from where she first learned to love the game.
"I started playing backyard cricket with my brother Nathan and my dad Jaimie," Faux said.
"Along with a friend, there was a bit of a rivalry built up with Nathan.
"I would also spend a lot of time watching the cricket with dad too."
That love of the game led her to join Port Macquarie Junior Cricket Club. She was just sevens years of age.
Her first game was as a wicket keeper but she did get to roll her arm over. She claimed two wickets in that first spell.
Faux now lines up with the Port Macquarie Neville side in the Brett Lee division 1 each Saturday morning. That tests her skills in the mixed under 16s format.
Her best performance includes 3 for 11 off 4 accurate overs and scoring a few runs here and there.
I scored a century - 122 not out - while my best bowling figures were 5/16 off six overs.

By Saturday afternoon she has changed uniforms and lines up with the Port Macquarie Leagues Magpies side in the third grade competition.
She has scored two half centuries batting at number 4 and taken one four wicket haul with her off spinners.
"I consider myself an all-rounder," she adds.
On Sundays she joins her teammates in the Sydney Tigers side to compete in the increasingly popular first grade women's competition.
Her side is currently sitting around the middle of the table.
While competitive at all levels, Faux is really carving out a name for herself in the high school competitions.
As a member of the North Coast Combined High Schools side, Faux was selected in the CHS first XI side. That pitted Faux against a CHS second XI.
"Then there was a tri-series between CHS, Combined Independent Schools and Combined Catholic Colleges," she said.
"CHS went on to win that competition and I was selected in a merit team at the end of the event.
"I scored a century - 122 not out - while my best bowling figures were 5/16 off six overs."
No wonder Faux has designs on a future in professional cricket.
She hopes to make it to the top level and play for Australia while she would "love to play BBL too".
Faux nominates Australian wicket keeper Alyssa Healy and all rounder Ellyse Perry as her inspirations.
"I admire and aspire to be as good as they are," she said.
"Cricket is a fun game, mentally challenging and you make friends for life too."
