Arriving at 4.59am, the beautiful boy - who is yet to be named - weighed a very healthy 3.96kg and was 52cm in length.
Originally expected to arrive on December 24, Leah was already in hospital to be induced.
The couple were ecstatic with the arrival.
"We have not told Oliver, 7, or Lily 5 about their little brother at this stage," Leah said.
"So it is going to be a bit exciting for them when we head home later today (Tuesday).
"Everything went well with the birth; he's a very healthy and chubby little baby. He's in perfect health."
The family, who live at Riverbreeze Estate, said they planned to relax at home for the remainder of the school holidays.
"If you can do that with a new baby," they said.
Grandparents Vicki Reckwell and Gary and Vanessa Byrne are also proud of the new arrival.
