We are still being told by climate change skeptics that the scientific world is undecided on the climate change issue so it is difficult to decide if any action on our part is really necessary.

The world’s average temperature has been generally rising over the last 30 years, until its present level and the amount it generally rises each year, have reached alarming proportions.
In addition, the world’s average level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere have also been generally rising over the last 30 years, till its present level and the amount it generally rises each year, have also reached alarming proportions.
The word general has been used because there have been small ups and downs, but there have been many more ups than downs. There is a very strong suspicion these two facts are related. These changes are not part of any known previous cycle in the earth’s history.
There is total agreement in the scientific world that these facts are true and I challenge any climate change skeptic to point out which part of these statement is untrue, and help clear up any doubts.
This request does not include predictions of what might occur in the future for something which have never occurred before in the earth’s history, so must be subject to varying opinion. It also does not refer to any changes in the climate conditions which we may have experienced in our own very tiny part of the earth’s surface.
