The 2018 Combined Business Networks Christmas Beach Party will be held from 5.30pm on Wednesday, December 12, hosted by representatives from the Port Macquarie Chamber, Wauchope Chamber, Camden Haven Chamber, Hastings Business Women’s Network, Micro-Business Forum, Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association NSW Business Chamber – Mid North Coast and sponsors, Port Macquarie News.
The event is open to all members of the community, not just business owners and members.
Guests are encouraged to relax and dress to suit the Hawaiian surf or beach party theme. A silent auction, complimentary drinks on arrival, delicious nibbles and live entertainment from local talent, Vena Klymo, should further entice community-minded party goers.
Funds raised at this event will go towards supporting all four local surf clubs, as they face the challenges of a busy holiday period.
Over $4,000 was raised at last year’s event and was donated to Lifeline Mid Coast to further enhance the Life Education Program featuring Healthy Harold.
“Port Macquarie News has been extremely generous as exclusive sponsors of the event. Apart from their valued role as the ‘brains trust’ of the community, they have also shown their heart by backing our chosen charity,” said Mark Wilson, Port Chamber Executive.
“This event is a great opportunity to gather together and celebrate all the good things we have at our doorstep and be grateful that we can also assist others. We are extremely fortunate to live in such a vibrant community with wonderful natural resources and a thriving business economy, as compared to many other parts of the nation.”
Donations for the silent auction will also be gratefully accepted.
If you would like to forward an item for auction, register your attendance or for further information please contact Chamber office on 6583 4412.
