The team’s hard work paid off at the Edith Parsons School of Physical Culture zone championships with instructor, Narelle Tyndall, full of pride for the club’s efforts.
The award was the culmination of the team’s hard work, commitment and dedication during 2018, she said.
In the individual women’s competition, Tarryn McSpadden was chosen to represent the club in Sydney at the state finals in the advanced ladies section.
Tracy Kaczorowski was awarded third place in the intermediate women’s section and all the other members made the finals in their individual age sections.
Kyra Campbell, competing in her first ever zone championship, made it to the semi-finals.
In 2019, the Port Macquarie club will be celebrating 20 years supporting the girls and women of the district and the club’s founder and head instructor, Cheryle Waterlander, will achieve a milestone of 30 years teaching with the Edith Parsons School of Physical Culture.
