According to weatherzone meteorologist Tom Hough, the first half of the week will be mostly sunny.
"The temperatures will be warming just slightly on each day through to Wednesday," he said.
"Monday's maximum temperature will peak at 25 degrees with a one degree increase on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"The minimums for Tuesday and Wednesday are likely to 14 degrees and 16 degrees.
"Those temperatures are pretty much on average for this time of the year."
Thursday's maximum temperature will be, again, slightly warmer at 27 degrees.
However, it looks likely we will see some showers pushing through on Thursday, particularly later in the day, Mr Hough said.
"From Thursday through to the weekend, a low pressure trough will be moving across the Port Macquarie-Hastings ahead of a front which is bringing those showers.
"While these showers are likely to be light, heavier falls on forecast for inland areas.
"By Friday we can expect to see more significant rain through the day. Early modelling suggests between one and five millimetres on Friday with about the same possible on Saturday."
Winds on Monday will be generally light and reaching about 15 kilometres per hour.
Tuesday and Wednesday will see generally light winds in the morning but picking up to become moderate and up to 25km/h later in the afternoon.
It is a similar wind pattern on Thursday and Friday.
Out to sea, we can expect Monday to experience wave heights of about one metre before increasing to between one and a half to two metres on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Beach conditions: it's like a pond with all beaches open in the Port Macquarie-Hastings. Water temperature is 22 degrees.
