People of all ages and abilities came together on their mats to help support YP Space Mid North Coast (YPS).
YPS is a not for profit youth specialist homelessness service, which has been operating in the Port Macquarie-Hastings and Kempsey-Macleay areas for over 32 years.
Yoga teacher Denis Juelicher has been instructing the sessions from the beach for over 10 years and is keen to support local community organisations annually.
“Not all of us are fortunate, so it’s important to share when we can,” she said.
Beach yoga session attendee Bee Mushu said she thought the YPS was a great organisation.
They helped Bee find a job.
“They’ve been a fantastic support for me,” she said.
“All the staff are really nice people and they genuinely care.”
The yogis enjoyed a communal breakfast after their practice.
Denis said beach yoga is on every Tuesday at 6am and Sunday at 8am until April.
It will also be run each day during the summer school holidays.
